SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Palmer G. Jason, a native of St. Louis, MO now resides in Centerville, OH. Pastor Jason holds a B.S.- Engineering Management degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX and an MBA-Finance degree from Washington University, St. Louis. After 8 years in the Corporate Finance arena Pastor Jason answered his call to full-time ministry. Pastor Jason was licensed to preach in 1992 and ordained in 1994. He served as the Children’s Church Pastor at Southern Baptist Church in N. Avondale, OH. He is a 1996 graduate of United Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.). While at UTS, Pastor Jason served as President of N.A.P.A.S. (National Alliance of Pan-African Seminarians) and was often sought out for his leadership and mentoring ability. He is Founder and Pastor of Jubilee Community Church where he currently serves. The multi-racial congregation has as its mission statement, “A People Set Free To Serve.” They minister in a community of “up and outs,” helping people to discover their unique gifting and calling and to pursue their God given destiny with passion. Pastor Jason’s personal ministry philosophy is “to equip the saints for the works of ministry.” He is a dynamic workshop leader and gifted pastor-teacher. Pastor Jason and his lovely wife, Dr. Lisa Jason have two children; daughter, Esmaude , and a son, Preston.
REV. DR. MAMIE JOHNSON | ASSISTANT PASTOR
Dr.. Johnson, a gifted and anointed speaker and teacher, delivering powerful messages. She is a dynamic workshop and retreat leader, passionate about her vocation. Her spiritual insight guides those seeking truth and her heart's desire is that all come to know how much God loves them and understand the challenges life presents.
A strong proponent of mental health and faith-based organizations, she is a dedicated advocate for mental health and wellness, committed to advancing emotional well-being within faith-based communities. She endeavors to integrate holistic care with spiritual support, promoting initiatives that confront mental health challenges in congregational settings. Her efforts aim to empower individuals and organizations to cultivate healing and hope. Through her leadership and advocacy, Rev. Dr. Johnson aspires to foster meaningful dialogue and innovative strategies at the nexus of faith and mental health and wellness.
Dr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Arts in Theology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary, with a focus on mental health. Prior to earning her doctoral degree, she served as a facilitator in the Contextual Ministry program at United Theological Seminary, guiding master’s students in spiritual formation and reflection. She is also a Spiritual Director for the Greater Dayton Emmaus Community, where she leads a short course on Christianity that emphasizes experiencing God’s grace through worship, prayer, small-group discussions, and dialogues between laity and clergy, with the objective of fortifying faith and preparing members for Christian service within their communities. As the founder of Mamie Johnson Ministries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of others, Dr. Johnson has made notable contributions through her steadfast commitment to service.
In addition to her role as Assistant Pastor at Jubilee Community Church, Dr. Johnson is an author and speaker, Mother and grandmother. She regularly shares daily devotions and insightful podcasts on Podbean, Facebook, Instagram and at mamiejohnsonministries.org, offering inspiration and support.
